CaLP is looking for an experienced Adult Learning Specialist to work with CaLP’s existing global technical and capacity building staff to advise on the re-engineering of CaLP’s capacity building approach. This will include reviewing existing training materials, the scope of capacity building more generally, input from the CoP on needs and demands and will result in the development of a framework for modular training.
Skills and Competencies:
- Significant experience of the use and development of adult learning methodologies with a particular focus on active learning and the use of simulations / case study approaches
- Experience in the development of standardized structures / frameworks for training modules
- Experience in developing comprehensive training and skills development packages, curriculum development and practical learning / experience based approaches
- Proven knowledge of different learning pathways, and applications of competency frameworks
- Experience in developing detailed plans for training / skills development, including identification of detailed cost structures and required support structures
- Excellent written and spoken English
